Buyer Protection
Your money stays safe until you are.
What’s covered
Escrow on every order
Your payment is held by Tislim and released to the supplier only once you confirm the goods match what was agreed.
Refund if it goes wrong
If an order doesn’t arrive, or the goods are significantly not as described, the escrow protects you, funds are returned, not lost.
Verified suppliers only
Every seller clears KYB business verification and sanctions screening before they can list. You only ever transact with vetted partners.
Dispute mediation
If buyer and supplier disagree, Tislim mediates with the evidence on file and decides a fair outcome, release, partial release, or refund.
Order tracking
A milestone timeline on every order shows escrow status, payment progress, and the shipment’s movement through to delivery.
How escrow protects every order
- 1
Pay into escrow
Fund your deposit through Tislim. The money is held securely · the supplier cannot touch it yet.
- 2
Supplier ships
The supplier produces and dispatches your order, with shipment details on your order timeline.
- 3
Track & receive
Follow the shipment to delivery and inspect the goods against the agreed specification.
- 4
Confirm & release
Happy? Release the funds. Not happy? Open a dispute before anything is released.
Buyer protection FAQ
What does buyer protection cover?+
Non-delivery, goods significantly different from the agreed specification, and damaged shipments. Because funds sit in escrow until you confirm, you are never out of pocket on an unresolved order.
How do I open a dispute?+
Open the order under Account → Orders and start a dispute before releasing funds. Add details and evidence (photos, survey, correspondence); Tislim reviews and mediates between you and the supplier.
When are funds released to the supplier?+
Only when you confirm the goods, or when an agreed inspection window passes without a dispute. Nothing is released on trust alone, you stay in control of the deposit until then.
What if the supplier stops responding?+
Escalate the order to Tislim. If the supplier fails to meet their obligations, we can resolve it directly, including returning your escrowed funds.
